Building integrated systems for predictable and bankable agriculture

Kipyegon Bett
Kipyegon Bett Founder, Futuris Infrastructure

I founded Futuris Infrastructure in 2026 with a commitment to building the infrastructure that makes farming especially for smallholder farmers predictable and bankable in Africa. Every system I design is built around renewable energy as the foundation; not as an add-on. The first product is MajiDepot, a five-module integrated water system combining rainwater harvesting, underground storage, solar-powered pumping, drip irrigation, and IoT monitoring.

The pilot will be live in Kericho County starting June 2026. I write here about the systems-level thinking that shapes how I build.

My background is 13 years across electrical engineering, commercial operations, and infrastructure development, with renewable energy as the consistent thread across every role. I have led grant strategies, built market entry into new geographies, and structured financing programmes for last-mile agricultural products.
